What is an Item?

Item is a container. In other project management tools it's also referred as Issue.

There are many predefined types of Items:

• User Story
• Task
• Bug
• Feature Request
• Epic
• Theme
• Folder

Also you can create your own types of Items.

Item concept in Apa is more powerful than Issue:

1. Item can contain another Items inside it and any of those children Items can contain Items inside them and so on.
2. It does not matter how deep an Item you want to work on is located - thanks to Panels (Items manager) it's really easy to navigate between them, create new Items and move Items around.
3. Items can be put on Board, you can add comments, attach files and generally speaking work on them - just create an Item in Panels and drag'n'drop it to Board or create an Item right on a Board (double-click on any board's column).
